Liberal blog swears revenge against state’s media

After a series of embarrassing revelations about Democratic office holders has cause the once ascendant Democratic Party in the Granite State to look confused, corrupt and cantankerous, a leftwing blog is swearing revenge against the state’s mainstream media.

Liberal blogger Dean Barker posted the following on his small blog “Blue Hampshire”:

I am sick and tired of being sick and tired of the truly awful media presence in the first district.

It’s time to fight back against the false GOP hit jobs against Carol Shea-Porter and the lazy stenographers in print and TeeVee who do their bidding. It’s clearly not enough to call them out on the lies after the fact, as we have been doing for four long years.

Stay tuned for a new approach coming next week.

Barker is reacting to recent revelations that Democratic Rep. Carol Shea-Porter obtained lists of graduating seniors despite school policies prohibiting such a thing from happening without authorization from the superintendent.

“Blue Hampshire” has close ties to the state Democratic Party. The state party Chairman Ray Buckley and the National Committeewoman Kathy Sullivan both blog there regularly, as do numerous members of the party’s staff. This prompts the question: Is the majority party in the state – the party that controls the Governor’s office and both chambers of the legislature as well as three of the four seats in the federal delegation – about to embark on an intimidation campaign against the state’s media?
