Gregg: Health Care Reform isn’t Dead

While emphasizing that he does not yet know what the final bill will look like, Sen. Judd Gregg (R-NH) told members of the Portsmouth Rotary Thursday night that he still believes Congress will pass a major health reform bill this year.
“I do expect that sometime in late-October there will be a major health care bill passed through Congress. And so it is absolutely critical that everybody stay engaged and we do as much as we can do to get this right,” Gregg told the crowd at the Redhook Ale Brewery.
Gregg in the second highest ranking Republican on the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, one of the committees charged with drafting health care legislation.
