District 3 state Senate candidate “Bud” Martin had an opportunity to reveal his positions on key issues that have dogged him of late on WMUR. He declined and instead stuck to a tightly worded script that echoed his message duing his appearance on “Close-up” this weekend. On gay marriage, the death penalty and broadbased taxes, “Bud” Martin is keeping mum for now.

“It would be presumptious of me to take a position on something that I haven’t had an opportunity to hear from everybody on. What I do pledge is that I will be responsible once I hear and understand the issues.”
